Weekend Food Hampers
All Saints’ Emergency Food Hampers is a vital mission of our Church operating for over 15 years. It is the only such service supplying basic food on a weekend to needy families in more than 65 suburbs in the south-east region of Perth.
In the parish financial year to 30 April 2016 we delivered 841 hampers (average of 16 per week) assisting 1792 adults and 1616 children. In the last few years we have seen a 2-3% increase each year.

Hampers range in size from small – for 1 or 2 people, medium for 3-4 people, large for 5-6 people and extra-large for a family of 7 or more. Each hamper consists of a pack of non-perishable items such as cereal, pasta, UHT milk, can foods, etc; a second pack of eggs, bread and butter, plus a third pack of fruit and vegetables. Enough food for 3 reasonable meals for each family over the weekend.

We take calls for assistance each week on Friday evening and Saturday morning with deliveries going out on Saturday afternoon. Our delivery area is limited to the southern suburbs of Perth in an area bounded in the north by the Swan River; in the east by Tonkin Highway; in the west by Carrington Street and Petra Street; in the south by Winterfold Rd, North Lake Rd, Beeliar Rd, Armadale Rd, Wharton Rd, Ranford Rd and Tonkin Hwy. (City of Gosnells included but not City of Armadale)
